79 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 515,023. 6,458,947 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,542,426 people have received the second.
302 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 503,483.
6 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,104. 4 of these deaths were recorded in Casablanca-Settat, 1 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra and 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet.
The country has 2,436 active cases, including 215 in critical conditions. 10 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 33 cases: 30 in Casablanca, 2 in Nouaceur and 1 in El Jadida. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 26 cases: 13 in Kénitra, 6 in Rabat, 3 in Skhirat-Témara, 2 in Salé, 1 in Sidi Kacem and 1 in Sidi Slimane.
Drâa-Tafilalet follows with 6 cases: 4 in Tinghir and 2 in Midelt. 5 infections were recorded in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane (Souss Massa).
Marrakech-Safi recorded 3 new cases: 2 in Marrakech and 1 in Essaouira. Fès-Meknes confirmed, for its part, 2 new infections: 1 in Fez and 1 in Taounate.
There are also 2 cases in Tanger-Assilah (Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima), 1 case in Laâyoune (Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra) and 1 case in Fqih Bensaleh (Beni Mellal-Khénifra).
