Morocco advances in latest FIFA rankings

Morocco's national football team has climbed two spots in FIFA’s April rankings, rising from 14th to 12th place globally. This advancement keeps Morocco at the top among Arab and African teams.

The team's total points now stand at 1,694.24, with an additional 6.06 points earned from victories against Niger and Tanzania in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

In Africa, Senegal remains second, ranking 19th globally, followed by Egypt, which has moved up to 32nd place. Algeria ranks 36th, with Ivory Coast at 41st and Nigeria at 43rd.

On the global stage, Argentina continues to hold the top spot, followed by Spain, which has moved up to second place. France has dropped to third, followed by England and Brazil.
