Education Minister Mohammed Saad Berrada and Al Mada Foundation President Hassan Ouriagli signed a partnership agreement on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in Fqih Bensalah to expand digital technology access in rural schools.

The agreement launches the second phase of the «Connected Classes Dir iddik» project, aimed at integrating digital tools into Morocco's national education system. The signing ceremony took place at Ouled Abdoun School and was attended by Beni Mellal-Khenifra Regional Governor Mohamed Benribarg, inwi CEO Azdine El Mountassir Billah, and Managem CEO Imad Toumi.

The Al Mada Foundation targets reaching over 30,000 students by 2026 by equipping more than 100 rural primary schools across Morocco's 12 regions. The initiative provides necessary equipment, connectivity, and training programs for both students and teachers.

The project includes the «Coding Caravan for All» program, offering teachers training in coding, robotics, and artificial intelligence basics. Additionally, the Injaz Al Maghrib association will conduct sessions on the local economy, business operations, and budget management.

The first phase, launched in March 2024 with partners inwi, Managem, and Nareva, equipped 30 classrooms and benefited over 12,200 students across six regions: Casablanca-Settat, Beni Mellal-Khenifra, Guelmim-Oued Noun, Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra, Draa-Tafilalet, and Marrakech-Safi.
