PJD refuses to hold Benkirane responsible for the delay of the government formation

The Justice and Development party refuses to hold Benkirane responsible for the delay of the government formation. This statement came in a communiqué released yesterday evening by the PJD that responded with an open heart to the replacement of its leader Abdelilah Benkirane.

The party’s statement shows its support to the royal decision and considers continuing the formation of the government. However, the communiqué published on the party’s official website blames the other parties’ representatives for not collaborating with the PJD. «The responsibility of not forming a government falls upon other parties. They have made the negotiations reach a dead end with their terms and conditions», explains the communiqué.

The communiqué was an opportunity for the party’s members to insist on their will to form a government and surpass the present crisis. For that sake, another meeting is supposed to be held on the 18th of March to study the current situation and rearrange the party’s cards.
