Grupo Bimbo, a Mexican multinational bakery and product manufacturing company will invade the African market through buying a Moroccan company specialized in baking and named Adghal, reports Reuters.
The Mexican firm is the ninth largest company in Mexico in the field of baking pastry and food manufacturing. It is headquartered in Mexico City and operates in the United States, Canada, Chile and Spain. According to the same source, Bimbo’s business chief announced last week that the multinational is planning to explore new markets in Asia and the Middle East.
Adghal is a bread maker group specialized in pastries and cupcakes; it has several shops around the kingdom. Bimbo reported that the Moroccan bakery has $11 million sales.
