«We will organize a meeting during the last quarter in Marrakech with the G5 countries, composed of Chad, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger and Mauritania, to deal directly with the effects of migratory policies. This will allow us to adopt common policies», said Juan Ignacio Zoido, Spanish Minister of the Interior. The latter said that the Central African Republic will replace Mauritania at the scheduled G5 meeting.
This meeting, which is the fourth since the creation of this working group in 2013, also provided an opportunity for the four representatives to sign the Seville Declaration, a document reflecting the commitment of the countries.
