Days after the terror attacks that targeted churches and hotels in Sri Lanka, Indian news agency IANS revealed, Wednesday, that Morocco has «shared sensitive intelligence» with the south Asian country.

According to the private news agency, which cites informed sources, information shared by the Kingdom had allowed Sri Lanka to «identify the nine bombers and their handlers in the Islamic State». IANS indicates that the same information was «shared» with India.

The same source reports that Morocco’s help was offered within «48 hours» of the Easter Sunday attacks, which killed 360 people and injured hundreds more. On Tuesday, terrorist organization ISIS claimed responsibility for the bombings.

Following the terror attacks, the Sri Lankan authorities arrested 60 people after it opened a nationwide investigation.
