The provinces of Moulay Yaacoub and Ifrane were declared on Tuesday free of Covid-19 after the last patients with the virus were cured.

This result is «the fruit of the efforts by all stakeholders, mainly the medical, nursing, technical and administrative staff, cleaning agents on duty in hospitals, local authorities, security services and the population», said the regional department of health (DRS) in a press release.

The region now has three provinces without Covid19, given that Boulemane did not record any case since the outbreak of the pandemic.

On this occasion, the DRS lauded the officials of the provincial delegations of Ifrane and Moulay Yaacoub, as well as those of the Hassan II University Hospital Center in Fez, welcoming the efforts made by the medical and nursing staff under the two delegations and all of the stakeholders who have shown dedication and responsibility.
