Policemen foiled Monday morning an irregular migration operation and arrested 25 Sub-Saharan would-be irregular migrants, National Police (DGSN) said in a release.
The would-be migrants were arrested on a beach near the southern city of Dakhla while they were about to leave aboard a boat.
They were in possession of two boat engines and 540 liters of fuel, the source said.
An investigation was opened under the supervision of the relevant public prosecutor's office, while search operations are underway to arrest all the people involved in this criminal network, the source pointed out.
