The government delegate in Melilla Sabrina Moh announced, Tuesday, that all Moroccans stranded in the Spanish enclave will be repatriated soon.

Quoted by El Faro de Melilla, she added that the repatriation operation will be carried out through several days and will be organized jointly and in coordination with the Moroccan authorities.

Sabrina Moh explained that all interested parties will be able to return home but stressed that the process will be carried in stages to avoid crowds. «The government will contact the people in question, summon them and schedule their return», she added.

Thus, «the first repatriation operation will take place tomorrow, Wednesday» and will bring home 200 people, the local newspaper reported. «Priority will be given to the most vulnerable ones», it added.

The following repatriation operations «will take place on Friday October 2 and Sunday October 4».

On the other side of the border, a source at the Prefecture of Nador confirmed to Nador City the start of this operation, which will begin, according to local media, this Wednesday.
