On Thursday, a group of blood-donors who wanted to help a person in need, were faced with a series of obstacles before being able to give blood. According to one of these donors, the Ramadan schedule had made blood donations a complicated task.
Several countries, around the world, will be celebrating the first day of Ramadan on Monday, including Australia, Belgium and France. Moonsighting will be conducted Sunday in Egypt, Sudan, Palestine, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Mauritania.
During the weekend, several countries around the world will be observing the new moon to determine the first day of Ramadan for 2019.
