Speaking at the House of Representatives, Nezha El Ouafi said Monday that 10,744 Moroccans stranded abroad have been repatriated, while 45,309 Moroccans living abroad and stranded in Morocco have returned to their countries of residence. For the canceled Marhaba operation, the return of Moroccans living abroad is still in the dark.
Moroccans studying abroad have found themselves unable to get by amid the global health crisis. Unable to pay rent and food, some of them are faced with homelessness.
