Moroccans stranded abroad : 304 repatriated from Turkey

The repatriation operation of Moroccans stranded abroad amid the coronavirus pandemic continued Tuesday with the arrival at Marrakech-Menara International Airport of 304 people from Turkey.

Two Royal Air Maroc (RAM) planes coming from Istanbul, each carrying 151 and 153 passengers, landed at the Marrakech Airport.

These new arrivals from Turkey bring the number of citizens repatriated through Marrakech-Menara Airport to 1,854 on a total of 12 flights.

1,550 citizens returned to the Kingdom through the airport of Marrakech, last Friday and Saturday, on 10 flights from Great Britain, France, the Netherlands, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal and Germany.

The returnees were taken to several hotels in the city, where they will have COVID-19 tests before being quarantined in accordance with the health protocol in force.
