Heavy thunderstorms expected in Morocco this Sunday

Locally heavy thunderstorms are expected this Sunday in several provinces of Morocco, the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) announced.

Showers (20 to 35 mm) are expected this Sunday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Tinghir, Zagora, Al Haouz, Azilal, Errachidia, Midelt, Tata, and Ouarzazate, the DGM noted in an orange weather alert.
