Heavy rain, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms, is expected on Tuesday in several Moroccan provinces, the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) announced.

According to the DGM, heavy, occasionally stormy rain is forecast on Tuesday from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., with accumulations between 50 and 70 mm in the provinces of Tangier-Assilah, Fahs-Anjra, Larache, Kenitra, Sidi Kacem, Tetouan, Chefchaouen, Ouezzane, Taounate, Taza, and Al Hoceima, as stated in a red-level alert bulletin.

Rainfall between 25 and 35 mm is also expected on Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the provinces of Rabat, Salé, Skhirate-Temara, Khémisset, Ifrane, and Khénifra, the same source added.
