Jerada : The trial of five detainees postponed to March the 26th

Five Hirak detainees from Jerada have just been heard at the Oujda’s Appeal Court.

«The judges have again decided to postpone the examination of the file to March the 26th,» said a source present in court. They have also rejected the lawyers’ request for provisional release.

Today's hearing was attended by the detainees' families and several representatives of the Hirak movement in the city of Jerada. Groups of students from the University of Oujda also attended the trial, which created tension with the police.

Six days after the violent clashes in Jerada, members of the Hirak committee made a list that includes the names of all detainees. «The first reports suggest than thirty people were arrested,» added the same source.
