Checking operations of the suspect on the Interpol database revealed that he is the subject of an international arrest warrant issued on 24 May 2019 by the Danish justice for his alleged involvement in a case of possession of a firearm, the police said in a statement.

He was remanded in police custody to complete the investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent prosecutor's office, pending his referral to the competent judicial authority to decide on the extradition procedure, according to the same source.
