The Kingdom's Mediator, Hassan Tariq, led a seminar as part of the «Youth Meeting» program, launched this Friday in Mohammedia. The former socialist MP focused his speech on the theme: «Institutional Mediation and Social Mediation: What Links?»

This meeting is part of the action program for the 2025-2026 season, which aims to transform youth establishments into true spaces for citizenship education, listening, and participation, MAP reports.

The program is based on the royal instructions outlined in the opening speech to Parliament, delivered by King Mohammed VI on October 10. The Sovereign urged special attention to be given to citizen guidance and the simplification of public initiatives and laws directly impacting their rights and freedoms.

Hassan Tariq, former secretary-general of the USFP youth wing, explained that this initiative aims to establish a constructive public debate between young people and public officials, focusing on issues related to access to public services, the quality of services, and administrative governance.

The former Moroccan ambassador to Tunisia emphasized that in a rapidly changing national context, one of the institutional responses to these challenges lies in establishing permanent dialogue channels, allowing young people to express their expectations and concerns while listening to the explanations and arguments of public officials.

Hassan Tariq also announced that the Institution of the Kingdom's Mediator will launch, next Tuesday, an electronic platform dedicated to dialogue and consultation, which will gather proposals and organize open debates.

This platform will enable young people, wherever they are, to participate in virtual forums and interact directly via their mobile phones or electronic devices.

This program and platform dedicated to young people emerge following the wave of GenZ212 demonstrations.
