King Mohammed VI invited to attend the Arabic, Islamic and United States Summit

King Mohammed VI is invited to attend Arabic, Islamic and United States summit hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The meeting scheduled for May the 21st in Ryadh will also be attended by Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, United States President Donald Trump, Iraqi President Fuad Masum and Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi.

Adel Al-Jubair, Saudi Foreign Minister, visited Rabat yesterday 8th of May to extend Morocco’s invitation. He was received by Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The summit holds the objective of forming a new alliance led by Saudi Arabia and the USA to fight against terrorism. It will also discuss ways of collaborating to put an end to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

For the record, Donald Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia will be part of the president’s first international tour after he assumed office in January 2017.
